Location: Fully Remote, Work from Home (including during training)
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am – 4:30pm EST
Starting Pay: $15.66 per hour

Do you believe details matter — especially when someone’s benefits are on the line? Do you enjoy reviewing information, explaining next steps clearly, and making sure deadlines are never missed? We’re looking for a focused, organized VA Appeals Specialist to help veterans understand their benefit decisions and ensure appeals are filed correctly and on time. You don’t need prior VA experience — we’ll train you. What we need is someone dependable, detail-oriented, and confident communicating with clients.
What you will be doing as a Remote Veterans Disability Appeals Specialist:
- Be the quality checkpoint by carefully reviewing decision letters to ensure everything is accurate and complete.
- Turn details into action by tracking key issues and next steps for every case.
- Guide clients with clarity by explaining decisions and attorney recommendations in simple, easy-to-understand language.
- Keep cases moving forward by preparing and filing appeals before deadlines expire.
- Make the process seamless for clients by sending decisions and required paperwork promptly.
- Drive follow-through by collecting signatures and forms needed to move cases ahead.
- Stay organized and in control by maintaining clean digital files and managing deadlines with confidence.
- Any and all other duties needed to serve our clients & mission

Now you might be wondering about the pay? The Remote Veterans Disability Appeals Specialist’s starting pay rate is $15.66 per hour. For this position, you receive a performance appraisal EVERY SIX MONTHS! That’s right! You will always know how you’re doing with your performance. And do you know what else? If you score well on your performance review, you will get a 42 to 75 cent increase every 6 months until you reach the cap of the pay range.
