2024 Freedom Fun Run 5K

Jan Dils Attorneys at Law was delighted to once again host our Freedom Fun Run 5k in 2024, with both in-person and virtual participation options! This wonderful fundraiser is dedicated to supporting and honoring our Veterans, with 100% of proceeds from the event benefiting local Veteran Organizations, such as Operation Transportation, We Have Your Six, and Jan Dils Foundation Scholarship for Veteran Recipients. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who joined us this year to show unwavering support for our Veterans, and proud to announce a record-breaking 427 participants and $45,000 raised from our 2024 event!

The Freedom Fun Run 5K was born out of the desire to do something special for our community while also having a positive impact on our Veterans. We heard the sacrifices Veterans and their families have made and wanted to do something huge to honor them. Jan Dils Attorneys at Law actively fundraises for Veterans year-round, with this event being our biggest and most exciting one of the year!

Over the past three years, we’ve offered the event both in-person and virtually and witnessed record turnout! Like in previous years, we offered both options, with an in person event on Saturday, June 29th, and a virtual 5K option lasting from Saturday, June 22nd until Friday, June 28th, 2024. 

The in person run took place exclusively at 963 Market St, Parkersburg, West Virginia, beginning at 8:00 am. Virtually, the race was open anywhere participants wanted, whether a track, trail, treadmill, or elsewhere!

Every year we have received overwhelmingly positive support and feedback about this race. This year’s event was incredibly successful, and we look forward to an even bigger and better event in 2025!
