Team Jan Dils helps with Toys for the Needy

For the past few years, our firm has had the privilege of working with the Marine Corps League of Parkersburg. The Marine Corps League does a lot of great work here in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Their premiere project occurs every winter. Their Toys for the Needy program provides Christmas presents for families in need in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
This year our staffed raised money and bought presents for the cause. Two members of our staff lead the team in our fundraising efforts. Social Security attorney Yvonne Costelloe and Community Outreach Specialist Jon Corra started raising funds in late October. In total, our staff raised nearly $500. Yvonne and Jon used that money to buy presents for a variety of age groups.
In addition to raising money and buying presents, this year members of our staff assisted the Marine Corps League with the toy sort. Each year, a few days before Christmas, the League gathers all the Toys from all the drop-off locations in the area, and volunteers separate and sort them for the families. There were a lot of toys and bicycles donated.
Our staff loved being a part of this cause, and we appreciate what the Marne Corps League does for our community.
