What are my chances of winning my claim for disability benefits?

Upon the initial application, a great majority of all cases are denied.  A reconsideration appeal will be filed and again nearly all cases are denied for a second time at that level. Most cases go to a hearing. When a denial of your request for reconsideration is received, a request for hearing will be filed. The approval rating varies from state to state and from judge to judge.
