Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am – 4:30pm EST
Starting Pay: $15.18 per hour

What you will be doing as Medical Records Specialist:

• Have great organizational skills to manage our Charlotte, NC Office
• Communicate any issues that may arise in the Charlotte, NC Office
• Become an expert on our Case Management Software, Adobe, and Microsoft Office that you will be using daily
• Use attention to detail to log, process, and review paperwork clients bring to the office
• You’ll be a problem solver by identifying the status of each claim
• We make sure all bills are paid! Our Medical Records Specialist will be the one to process records invoices.
• We always strive to reach our goals! Goals for this position include 50 records requests daily, 60 hearing level records reviews, 90 of non-hearing records reviews, and 130 records submissions all with 10% or less errors.
• To meet all of our goals, the Medical Records Specialist has productivity requirements in place.
• Quality is extremely important to our firm. That’s why we have the standards of maintaining at least a 90% on quality scores.

Now you might be wondering about the pay? The Medical Records Specialist’s starting pay rate is $15.18 per hour. For this position, you receive a performance appraisal EVERY 6 MONTHS! That’s right! You will always know how you’re doing with your performance. And do you know what else? If you score well on your performance review, you will get a 31 to 56 cent increase every 6 months until you reach the cap of the pay range.
